CHINESE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OVERSEAS EXILES HEADQUARTERS
Collecting Signatures for Appeal
Lodging a strong protest against the perverse acts of the
CCP autocracy headed by Hu Jintao
Paying close attention to the dangerous situation of Guo Feixiong and Gao Zhicheng who are leaders of the Defending Human Rights Movement.
The present situation of human rights and politics in mainland China has embarked on a dark and rapid descent. Recently, Guo Feixiong, a leader of the Defending Human Rights Movement; Li Hong, a famous writer of dissident and a backbone of the China Democracy Party and Chen Shuqing have all been arrested one after another. Following which, a famous lawyer and leader of the Defending Human Rights Movement, Gao Zhicheng, and other members such as Xu Wanping, Yang Tianshui, Zhang Lin, Zheng Yichun, Tan Kai, Li Yuanlong, Yang Xiaoqing, Chen Guangcheng, Zhao Yan, Cheng Xiang and Guo Qizhen have all been rounded up, prosecuted and found guilty. The already worsening situation of human rights and politics in China ever since the disappearance of Deng Yongliang and Zhao
Xi has now degenerated and become even more unbearable.
The CCP regime of autocracy headed by Hu Jintao is blocking all possibility and hopes for China’s peaceful transition towards a free and democratic society. Recently, on top of intensifying state suppression of internal dissension and
the collective battle for human rights, the government has also tightened its control over the media, news, internet and even film production. These acts even surpass that of Mao and Deng’s times, brazenly violating the elementary requirements of freedom of international news and speech by declaring that the dissemination and production of all news and photos by news agencies based in China have to come under the direct jurisdiction and approval of the
CCP-controlled Xinhua Agency.
These perverse acts by the Hu Jintao-led CCP regime are crazy and extremely dangerous.
For this reason, we strongly appeal to all righteous and freedom-loving individuals of all circles to join us in protesting these perverse acts of the CCP regime by signing this document and paying close attention to the perilous
situation of Guo Feixiong and Gao Zhicheng (leaders of the Defending Human Rights Movement) and to join us in unanimously demanding for the release of Guo Feixiong, Gao Zhicheng, Wang Bingzhang, Qin Yongmin, Hu Shigen, Mao Qingxiang, Yang Jianli and all so-called “conscience offenders”.
