The Preparatory Meeting of UK Branch of China Democracy Party for commemorating The Fifteenth Anniversary of 4th June
The UK Branch of China Democracy Party has hold The
Preparatory Meeting of The Fifteenth Anniversary of 4th June in London on
02 May 2004. Mr Gao Peiqi, the
person in charge of the UK Branch of CDP, has not taken part in the
meeting for some reason. Mr Huang Hua, the secretary-general
of UK Branch of CDP, has exchanged the opinions with Mr Gao
Peiqi by phone before the meeting. The meeting has made the decisions as
1, This year is The Fifteenth Anniversary of the event of Tiananmen Square on 4th June 1989. In order to cherish the memory of those martyrs who give their precious life for contending democracy and against corruption; in order to memorialise the democracy movement of shocking the whole world and the surging, UK Branch of CDP will hold an exhibit of photographs of the event of Tiananmen Square on 4th June 1989 in China Town at 12.30pm to 8.00pm 4th and 6th June 2004.
2, In order to be successful for the activities, the meeting have made a decision that is setting up a headquarters for commemorating the fifteen anniversary of 4th of June. The members of headquarters as follows:
Commander in chief: Mr Ye Rongsheng
Vice-commander in chief: Ms Zhao Lijuan
Members: Mr Huang Hua, Mr Song Haiying, Mr Qian Jun
3, Mr Huang Hua has communicated
the instructions of Mr Wang Xizhe who is the person in charge of the liaison headquarters of CDP about the
relationship of Sino-Tibet and Dalai Lama recently. UK Branch of CDP
agrees with that and supports that.
4, Mr Huang Hua has circulated the tragic situation of Mr Wang Sen who is the leader of Sichuan province of CDP in prison in China and his family has a difficult situation of survival. The meeting has thought that UK Branch of CDP should maintain them by doing best.
5, The meeting has reached unanimity of principles for the using and managing membership fee, and entrusted Mr Huang Hua in full powers to dealing with the matters of supporting the families of suffering members of CDP in mainland China.
